WELCOME TO "RODEO IN THE ROCK, DIAMOND TUFF 2019"

There will be a Mandatory New Contestant Meeting time and place will be announced and posted at Registration. The Arena Director will hold this meeting and conduct a roll call of all new contestants.
New contestants need to be aware of dress code, alcohol and drug influences, rough stock riding procedures, shared riggings, animal safety and welfare and general information. I, as the Rodeo Director, urge each new contestant to take the time to read up on the rules of IGRA Rodeo.
New contestants wishing to compete in any IGRA-sanctioned rodeo are encouraged to pre-register with the IGRA office a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to the first rodeo they wish to compete in. The office contact information will be listed on the IGRA Web site.

If you do not belong to an Association, an application to join the Diamond State Rodeo Association is available online (www.dsra.org) or you may join DSRA during the registration event for the 2019 Rodeo In The Rock.

RODEO EVENTS will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 27 and 28, beginning at 9:00 am daily. Events are: Bull Riding, Steer Riding, Chute Dogging, Calf Roping on Foot, Mounted Breakaway Roping, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Flag Race, Pole Bending, Steer Decorating, Wild Drag Race and Goat Dressing. NO BRONC RIDING WILL BE OFFERED.
In accordance to 2019 IGRA Rodeo Rule 1, Section 8 (c) states: Pre-registration is required for Rough Stock Riding Events. No exceptions!
Contestants must enter a minimum of One (1) event per GO, OR Two (2) events on one day. Pre-registration must be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of sixty dollars ($60.00). The non-refundable $60.00 deposit will be forfeited to the host association if the contestant fails to show for the rodeo. Must reserve the appropriate number of stalls - see Stall & Tack menu button.
DAY MONEY will be paid in accordance with IGRA Rodeo Rule XIV.
PRIZE MONEY may be added at a later date. Please check back.
AWARDS Ceremony will be on Sunday, April 28, 2019 in the Arkansas Building. All contestants are invited to an Awards dinner prior to the ceremony. Times and costs of the ceremony and meal will be announced at a later date. Buckles will be awarded to the event champions and to the All-Around Cowboy and All-Around Cowgirl.
RITR has an approved variance. The arena size is 100' x 175'.
"Rodeo in the Rock 2019" (RITR) is sanctioned by the International Gay Rodeo Association (IGRA).

NEW CONTESTANTS MAY CONTACT THE IGRA OFFICE TO OBTAIN AN IGRA NUMBER A MINIMUM OF THIRTY (30) DAYS PRIOR TO THE RODEO AND COMPLETE AN ON-LINE REGISTRATION. THE IGRA WEBSITE IS WWW.IGRA.COM.

All contestants with the assigned IGRA number must mail a completed IGRA Event Entry Form with a postmark date no less than twenty-two (22) days prior to the rodeo's first performance or complete and pay for an online registration with a date-time stamp by 10:00 pm Mountain Time no less than fifteen (15) days prior to the rodeo's first performance.

IGRA Contestant Late Registration Policy
RITR will accept late registrations but it will cost a fifty dollars ($50) late registration fee. Only applies to contestants who have been assigned a four (4) digit IGRA contestant number greater than 30 days from the registration date. This applies to all events offered at the rodeo.

On-Site Registration is two hours from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Arkansas Building at State Fair Grounds.
